Jaundice hospital stay and now high blood pressure

What a week, a normal newborn rash landed us at the drs wednsday afternoon, dr notice he looked pretty yellow. Did stat bloodwork for bill level,direct coombs, and blood type. Came back at 18 told to head to the hospital they have a room waiting for him,by Thursday night it was down to 12, but in came a new issue.. Sudden high blood pressure.. So he got a kidney u/s, chest x-ray and urinealysis. Everything came back fine. They finally let us go Friday afternoon after realizing the dr he was gonna see for a consult was at a different kaiser.  He got set up with a check up for Monday, he has his 2-3wk well check set for Friday, he has a appt with the Nephrotologist set for 11/25. So we have no clue why he’s having high blood pressure, they were all done while he was resting/ sleeping so they shouldn’t had been high.

I was worried all week that I'd not realize I was in labor and hubby wouldn't make it home in enough time. The week before I was told I was 2cm 50% on 10/26. On November 4th I got up a little before 6am to use the bathroom and thinking I would find excess cm, I found red blood and than when I sat on the toilet started to pass decent sized feeling clots. What a way to start the morning, got hubby called for him to come home, called L&D *and was told to go to the nearest hospital. My aunt came over to drive me . Got to the hospital and checked in at 7:32am, hubby arrived at 8:03am and we finally got taken back to a triage room to get on monitors and get a ultrasound to find the source of the bleeding and clots. Ultrasound found no reason for the bleeding and clots. 9:13am I am checked and told I'm 6cm and GBS+. Nurse says I probably dilated super fast hence the bleeding and clots. 9:58am contractions are 4-5mins apart . 12:10pm still 6cm and high. 2:32pm 7cm, agreed to the dr breaking my water. 4pm puking and contractions. 5:32pm 8cm 2+station. Harlan was born at 6:48pm after 3-4good pushes. He was 10lbs even 21 *1/2" long lots of hair on his head. Med free

Alexandria's Birth Story

We'll lets see i went to sleep feeling kinda crampy and my back hurting on 8/9*my baby shower* then next morning it was worse on 8/10 so me and my mom started timing them and they were from 3-7 mins apart so i jumped in the shower and we started timming them again and they were every 2-3 mins apart and very very painful, so we went and met my aunt at the mall to walk around some more, i threw up when we went to get lunch i ordered ice cream and gave it one look and ran to the bathroom. we'll we went home and walked around more, finally df got to the house and we called the midwife on call who said they prob werent doing anything and how there was no point in comming in because it was my first baby and it would take a while  we'll we ended up leaving to the hospital shortly after that phone call and when we got there at like 4pm and i was checked i was already 5cm and with a bulging bag of water * proved that midwife wrong* we called everyone and then i went to the bathroom came out and got back on the bed and waited for them to do the bloodwork & have the full iv in me before they'd do the epidural and i thought my water broke and it turned out i just peed on myself yet i had just finished doing that in the bathroom , we'll i got my epidural and it was so nice, the nurse came in to say that i had a high white count and they put a cath in and checked my temp and i had a slight fever and so they went to check my urine and it turned out fine so no uti like they thought. we'll fast forward to around like 7pm i think they check me again or maybe it was 9pm and i was a 7cm. we'll around 4am ppl started to leave and go home since they hadnt checked me again and because of the time, my dad drove back to san diego with his gf and then said he'd drive straight back. we'll they finally came back in to check me again at like 7am i think and i was a 9cm and then she broke my water*i didnt feel a gush or anything* and then she had me push a little to practice, then a little after 9am my dad was back, and they checked me again and i was 10cm and so i started to push, and i was really swollen before i even had her head out, we'll i pushed for 1 hour exactally and she was born at 10:30am with a full head of brown hair just like her daddy , i didnt tear at all she weighed 7lbs 13ounces 20inches long * they think either i got my dates wrong or she would have been like a good 9lber by my edd of 9/9. after birth was scary since i was bleeding more than a should and they couldnt get my uterus to stay hard, it'd go hard then go mushy then go hard. what was also wierd was she had a short cord but it was very very healthy, they could only lay her in the crease of my thigh because of how short it was[&:].
i still had a fever and a bad case of the shakes after i had her they still never figured out why i had the fever and high white blood cell count. they didnt bloodwork on her cause my fever the whole time i was in labor and after.
We also found out that she had something called Direct Coombs having to do with our blood, since i'm O+ and shes A+ and how we have to be extra careful about her jaudnace.
Oh and on 8/11 after we were in the post partum room, i gave her to my mom after feeding her i think and went into the bathroom and i gues all of a sudden she turned purple and was choking very scary they said it was because the aminotic fluid she still had in her stomache.

Ryker's Birth Story

I had been loosing my mucus plug since May 19th.
At my doc appt on May 25th i was 1cm 59% effaced so the doctor swept my membranes saying it could start something or not. Fast forward to May 29th around 8:20pmsish i went to the bathroom and had more plug with blood in it but kinda blew it off but then started having contractions so i started to time them,the were 6,7,6,11,8,6,7,7,7 from 8:31 to 9:36pm. I called my mom and she said she thought i should call my doula, and plus the insurance gave out a notebook and the part about labor said to go to L&D if its your 2nd or more when your contractions are 8-10mins apart. So i called my doula and told her about the contractions and she agree that this was it and we should leave for the hospital right away incase the contractions took a turn and she would just meet us there. We got to the hospital and i was checked at 12am and was 2-3cm, we then walked the halls to try and get them to pick up, then they checked me again at 1:50am and i was 4cm 90%effaced so we were admitted,i stayed at that cm til around 6:15am when i was checked again and was 5cm 90%effaced. By 11:20am i was 8cm and was actually able to hold a phone conversation with my dad to tell him that his grandson would prob be born on May 30th.At 12:19pm the forebag water broke it was deff a weird feeling and then at 12:59pm the midwife came in and broke the rest of my bag of water. I still can't believe i was able to give birth to him without a epidural.

He was born  May 30th 2006 at 2:28pm weighing 8lbs 14oz 20 1/2"
edited to add at his doc appt today we found out the hosp measured him wrong since today he measured 22" 

Turkey's 11wk Ultrasound

Blurry because it was done using a older machine, like the midwife she was very nice.Baby measured in at 11wks1day. So far baby has measured ahead at every ultrasound. They will not be changing my due date thankfully but going by measurements baby ended up with a due date of  11/9/2011.

Turkey is now measuring 1 day ahead i figured i was 7wks4days, baby measured 7wks5days. Heart rate around 156. New edd is 11/11/2011
